A carer is someone looking after a friend or relative of any age who, through an illness, disability or addiction, is unable to manage without help.
Carers are a vital part of the community and we want to support and help carers as much as we can.
Let us know you are a carer by filling in the tear off slip on one of the green leaflets in the surgery and handing it to the receptionist. Alternatively tell your GP, nurse or health visitor that you are a carer, as they can offer useful information and support when you need it.
